Measure H Results:

As you can see from the chart, the highest percentage areas for "Yes" votes were Isla Vista and UCSB which averaged around 80% affirmative vote. The voter registration drive at the university added 10,000 new voters and had a definite affect on the race. I would also suggest that being supported on the Democratic Party and the Lois Capps materials and efforts in the area helped tremendously. Other high percentage areas included downtown Santa Barbara and the Westside. Click the Image to Enlarge

Measure I Results:

A similar effect happened here where, although Isla Vista/UCSB is not the the Measure I area, downtown Santa Barbara and the Westside had the most "yes" votes. Click the Image to Enlarge

Measure H and I Together:

When we put the results together for the overlapping areas, There are a couple of gaps between the "yes" votes for each measure but they are not very large considering the number of votes. Click the Image to Enlarge
